Internal components are virgin plastic in order to meet the criteria for quality on the working parts. The recycled material is meeting the required standards for certification under the EuCertPlast - Scheme for European Plastics Recyclers. Cover, backplate and plastic pump parts can be recycled, reducing plastic waste. The supplier for the recycled material is audited by The Carbon Trust to provide Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of the recycled parts.
